Deputy Minister for IDPs: People displaced from Donbas will have no passport problems

In April, over 60,000 Ukrainian passports were issued to the residents displaced from the uncontrolled territories of Donbas.

Deputy Minister for the Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Yuri Hrymchak stated this on Espreso TV.

"Over the past month, 68,000 [residents], who lived in the uncontrolled territories, received new documents. At present, the procedure for obtaining birth certificates, passports has been fully developed,” Hrymchak noted.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, over 3.5 million biometric passports have been issued to Ukrainians.
