International heart surgery congress begins in Ivano-Frankivsk

The international congress of cardiovascular surgeons has kicked off in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, the press center of the health department of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration reports.
“The VII Joint Congress of Cardiovascular Surgeons of Ukraine and Poland ‘Progressive Achievements in Cardiovascular Surgery - Exchange of Experience' is held in the regional center of Prykarpattia from May 25 till 26. During two days, more than 200 Ukrainian specialists together with leading cardiovascular surgeons from Poland, Belarus, Germany, Great Britain and Uzbekistan will discuss current problems of the industry and new directions of heart surgery, share experiences and achievements,” reads the report.
In general, there are 38 cardiology centers in Ukraine.
