International KidsMovieFest kicks off in Kyiv

Kyiv will host KidsMovieFest international children's film festival on May 20-21.
This is reported on the festival’s website.
"Young directors from the USA, Italy, Spain, Poland, France, the UK, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine sent their works to the festival. The youngest director is 9 years old and the oldest one is 18 years old," the statement reads.
The filmmaking workshop simulating the film production of the four historical epochs of Europe will operate at the Kinopanorama movie theatre in Kyiv city center.
The program of the festival includes presentation of a children's film from eastern Ukraine, flashmob from young directors, castings, master classes of plasticine and sand animation.
The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at the Kinopanorama movie theatre at 13:00 on May 20.
