Poroshenko, Groysman congratulate Ukrainians on Vyshyvanka Day

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated Ukrainians on the Day of Vyshyvanka (national Ukrainian embroidered shirt) and wished national clothes inspired new victories.

The congratulation is published on the Facebook page of the Head of State.

"Let our national clothes inspire us to gain new victories! I congratulate everyone on the Vyshyvanka Day!" the statement reads.

The President published a short video on the occasion of the holiday.

Ukrainian embroidered shirt preseves the traditions of our people and unites Ukrainians from west to east.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in his congratulations on the occasion of the Vyshyvanka Day.

"This day we honor our national protective amulet – a beautiful Ukrainian embroidered shirt. It preserves the original traditions of our people and unites Ukrainians from west to east. I congratulate you on the Vyshyvanka Day!" the Head of Government posted on his Facebook page.
