Twelve foreigners during Eurovision 2017 applied for help to police

Twelve foreigners during the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 applied for help to the police.

This has been reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

"During the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 12 foreigners applied for help to the police. In general, they became victims of minor property crimes, in particular, eight thefts, two fraud cases and two accidents," the report said.

During the mass events held in the state, the police used modern equipments and the latest technologies for provision of public security and order.

As reported, the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest 2017 took place in Kyiv during the period of May 7 to May 13. More than 10,000 law enforcement officers were involved in security measures.
