Government, UNICEF sign memorandum on introduction of national early intervention platform

"We understand that early intervention is a modern complex system of psychological, social, medical and educational services for families of children with developmental disabilities," Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko said during the signing ceremony, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

He has noted that the main goal for the government is to create a safe and supportive environment for the child development in the family, but on the other hand, the government understands the need to create all necessary conditions for creating an enabling environment for families with such kids.

In his opinion, the signing of this document will help consolidate the efforts of all parties in the issue of launching the national platform for early intervention.
