Ukrainian Blood Service receives equipment worth EUR 790,000

The Ukrainian Blood Service has received special equipment for collecting and processing blood. The equipment worth about EUR 790,000 was granted by the international charitable fund Global Medical Aid and the Danish company Vingmed, the press service of the Health Ministry of Ukraine reports.

The new equipment will allow blood centers to implement the standardized sampling and processing of donated blood and improve the process of ensuring patients with blood components.

The equipment will be distributed between 22 blood service centers across Ukraine.
