Canada sends 11 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Ukrainian Canadian Congress and Canadian civil society organizations have sent 11 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

This is reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.

"January 4, 2017, Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Caravan Logіstics Canadian company, and Canadian civil society organizations Ukraine Appeal, GlobalFire, Global Medic, and the League of Ukrainian Canadians collected and sent to Ukraine 11 tons of humanitarian aid, consisting of medical equipment and fire fighting equipment," the statement reads.

As noted, the mentioned aid will be transferred to hospitals and fire stations in eastern Ukraine, particularly, in town of Mariupol.
