Deputy Information Policy Minister of Ukraine Artem Bidenko said this at a press briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to him, the Ministry managed to close the demand for Ukrainian broadcasting in such countries as Georgia, Poland and the Baltic countries by nearly 90%. "We have great contacts for spreading Ukrainian broadcasting in Bulgaria and Romania. We also signed an agreement with Slovenian cable companies," Bidenko said.
He also informed that the Information Policy Ministry of Ukraine had already managed to sign a preliminary agreement on the transition to satellite broadcasting, which would allow entering Central and Western Europe. According to Bidenko, this will be a Ministry’s priority for the nearest future.
