Ukrinform’s film wins third prize at international film festival

Chaplain documentary produced by Ukrinform has won third prize at the III Light International Film Festival in the "short documentary film" nomination.

This was reported by an Ukrinform correspondent from the festival awards ceremony.

In October 2016, Ukrinform’s film crew, Dmytro Florin and Kateryna Zavada, visited the town of Marinka in Donetsk region and shot a short documentary about the work of military chaplains in the ATO area. Chaplain is a story of three Ukrainian clergypersons on the frontline – two men and one woman.

As a reminder, Kyiv hosted III Light International Film Festival on December 11-13, 2016. The program of the festival included films from Ukraine, Spain, Argentina, New Zealand, India, Israel, the United States and other countries. The event was supported by the Culture Ministry of Ukraine and the Kyiv City State Administration.
