The number of Ukrainian migrant workers in Poland doubled over the past two years.

This is reported by TVN24, citing a study of the National Bank of Poland.

"The significant majority of Ukrainian migrant workers in Poland are men (57.9% vs. 32.9%); young people dominate (average age of 32.8 years old vs. 42.8 years old in the earlier waves of migration). In addition, now more people migrate from eastern Ukraine," the statement reads.

"Since 2014, there has been a constant, dynamic growth in the number of invitations from Polish employers for Ukrainians. A record number of 760,000 applications for Ukrainian citizens was registered in 2015. So, the figure more than doubled compared to 2014," the statement says.
