Seven Wonders of Ukraine project: Ukraine’s best historical cities and towns

Ukraine’s seven best historical cities and small towns have been chosen within the all-Ukrainian cultural and educational project - Seven Wonders of Ukraine. 

The winners are the following cities: Berdiansk (Zaporizhzhia region). Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region), Halych (Ivano-Frankivsk region), Dykanka (Poltava region), Kaniv (Cherkasy region), Nizhyn (Chernihiv region) and Hust (Zaporizhzhia region),

“We have no first or seventh places, we have seven winners,” project organizer, famous public and political activist Mykola Tomenko said.

In addition, among the cities with significant potential for tourism were noted Berdychiv (Zhytomyr region), Zhovkva (Lviv region) and Terebovlia (Ternopil region).

The Seven Wonders of Ukraine: historical cities and small towns is the fifth round of the all-Ukrainian project “Seven Wonders of Ukraine”. The project was founded by Mykola Tomenko’s Native Country Fund in 2007.
