"Sumy can boast of strong scientific IT base. The IT graduates of local universities are in demand both in Ukraine and abroad for a good reason. Our young scientists have unique developments and work for leading IT companies," Chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration Mykola Klochko said at the opening ceremony, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Klochko, this international forum promotes joint efforts of government, business, and science to make IT an integral part of all the economy areas of Sumy region.
The forum is attended by scientists, representatives of the business and authorities, who take part in five discussion panels.
The ambassadors of foreign states are also present among 300 event participants.
