Four Ukrainian school students among top 100 young scientists at Google Science Fair

Four Ukrainian school students have entered top 100 of young scientists at the Google Science Fair 2016 competition.

The selection results of young researchers were published at the Google Science Fair website.

"Last week, the first stage of the Google Science Fair 2016 ended. One hundred best scientific projects from all over the world were selected. Four Ukrainian school students are also among the finalists," the statement reads.

Ukrainian children presented the following projects:

Mykyta Hordiienko with the project titled "Am_I_Fatigued: How to discover accumulated fatigue and eliminate risk of catastrophe";

Anton Tykhonenko with the project titled "Functional hand prostheses for people with ectrodactyly";

Polina Khadeeva with the project titled "Photometric examination of asteroid 2012 LC1";

Danila Kuznetsov with the project titled  "Use of properties of heliosynchronous orbits for terraformation of planets using materials easily accessible in the cosmos".

August 11, the names of 16 finalists will be revealed. They will compete for the main prize of $50, 000 scholarship.
