Speaker Parubiy: Journalists from 20 countries work in Parliament

Some 3,500 reporters are accredited in the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, of whom 150 are foreign mass media representatives from 20 countries.
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy said this at today’s parliamentary sitting, when congratulating journalists on their forthcoming professional holiday, which is marked on June 6.
“At present 3,500 journalists are accredited in the Verkhovna Rada, of whom 150 are foreign journalists from 20 countries of the world,” Parubiy said.
According to him, the Verkhovna Rada has one of the highest figures among all Parliaments around the world in terms of foreign-accredited journalists .
