Ukrainian MFA issues Turkey travel alert

Due to high levels of terrorist threats in the Republic of Turkey, the Foreign Ministry recommends citizens of Ukraine planning to travel to Turkey, or who are already there, to avoid crowded places, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports on its site.

"While in Turkey, the citizens of Ukraine should be on high alert and be cautious, avoid visiting the known objects of tourist infrastructure (places of worship, historical monuments, pedestrian streets popular among foreign tourists and squares in places of recreation), as well as venues for rallies and demonstrations", the statement notes.
