Drugs for children with cancer delivered to Kyiv clinics

Medicines purchased by using the state budget programs for children with cancer were delivered to Kyiv hospitals, the health ministry reports.

"ON May 13, 2016 Kyiv city and region hospitals obtained drugs, namely Octanate / OCTANATE Factor VIII for clotting of human blood, doxorubicin-TEV Doxorubicin-Teva, fludarabine-TEVA, which were purchased using 2015 state budget funds, the budget program "centralized activities for caring for children with cancer" and "centralized procurement of medicines for hemophiliac children," for the total amount of UAH 7.423 million," a statement said.

The ministry officials noted that these drugs were distributed among local hospitals and clinics.
