Polish Lublin assists to create development strategy for unified commune in Carpathian region

In the Carpathian foothills region, Polish city of Lublin has joined the project "Ukrainian administration of the future" that is aimed at creating a unified development strategy for Pechenizhyn unified area commune (UAC).

Director of the office for reforms in the Western region of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Panasyuk told a press conference, Ukrinform informs.

"Polish city of Lublin has joined the project "Ukrainian administration of the future." As a result of this project implementation Pechenizhyn unified area commune will have a strategy for its development," said Panasyuk.

He noted that the development strategy is planned to be completed until the end of 2016, and its implementation period is considered to last until 2020. The document will allow the Pechenezhyn unified area commune to address international organizations for assistance and support.

It is known that the Pechenizhyn unified area commune launches the project "Academy of pacification leaders" with the support provided by the governments of Poland and Canada.

Pechenizhyn UAC is one of the first communities that fulfilled all the procedures for forming the commune in the Carpathian region.
