German families gather Christmas gifts for Ukrainian children of internally displaced persons

The representative of the charity fund "The Future of Children" Markus Orlop told journalists, Ukrinform reports.

The Foundation The Future of Children  helps needy children in various countries. Today, we brought gifts for the Ukrainian children. There are about 5,000 Christmas packages," said Orlop.

He noted every year on Christmas Eve the fund holds events to gather New Year and Christmas gifts for children of refugees in Germany, as well as for those in need in countries such as Bosnia, Romania.

The Fund conducts such an event for the second year in a row in Ukraine along with the Ukraine Union of Samaritans, the Ukrainian public organization on rights of internally displaced persons and the department of education and science, youth and sports at the Kyiv city state administration.
