Canada to pressure Russia to end war – Carney

According to Ukrinform's correspondent, this was stated by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney while commenting on Russia's airstrike against Ukraine.

"Canada unequivocally condemns these indiscriminate attacks... Canada stands with Ukraine as it defends itself against this unconscionable aggression and we will work with allies to sustain pressure on Russia to bring this conflict to an end," Carney said.

He also expressed his "deepest condolences to those injured and everyone mourning their loved ones."

As Ukrinform previously reported, on the night of May 14 Russian forces launched a massive air attack on Ukraine, targeting, among other places, Kyiv, where 21 people were killed.
