Stubb discusses NATO, Ukraine, and Iran with Trump

President of Finland Alexander Stubb held a phone conversation with the U.S. President Donald Trump regarding NATO and Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, he wrote about this on X.

Stubb described the call as a "constructive discussion and exchange of ideas."

"Constructive discussion and exchange of ideas on NATO, Ukraine and Iran. Problems are there to be solved, pragmatically," he wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, the day before, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Gossset declined to confirm the United States' commitment to NATO collective defense, stating that the decision would be made by President Donald Trump.

Trump sharply criticized NATO allies, claiming that member countries provided no assistance to the United States in confronting Iran.
