Ireland allocates additional €40.3 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, this was announced by Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defense Helen McEntee at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv.
McEntee said she was pleased to announce the allocation of an additional 40.3 million euros in humanitarian and stabilization support for Ukraine, adding that this would bring their total humanitarian support and aid for the year to 65 million euros, the highest level since the start of the full-scale invasion.

The Irish minister for foreign affairs, trade, and defense explained that Ireland will channel the 40.3 million euros to various organizations, such as Irish Aid, to enhance projects already underway. This includes medical aid, support for veterans, school shelter, and more.
The Foreign Minister also added that Ireland is supporting 120,000 Ukrainians who have found refuge in the country.
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 30, the Irish government approved allocating 25 million euros to Ukraine to support energy infrastructure.
