Zelensky and Kallas discuss release of €90B for Ukraine
Zelensky announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“These funds are critically important and serve as a financial guarantee of security not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe. It is this package that must ensure our defense and send a signal to the Russians that their war is doomed to failure. This signal depends on Europe, and it is essential that this signal be sent so that the war ends sooner,” the head of state noted.
They also discussed the need to increase pressure on Russia and to work toward opening negotiation chapters regarding Ukraine’s membership in the European Union.
Zelensky thanked Kallas for the visit by European ministers to Ukraine on the fourth anniversary of Bucha’s liberation from Russian invaders.
“It is important that every Russian criminal be held accountable for all the suffering Russia has inflicted on our people,” the President emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky thanked the participants of this year’s Bucha Summit for keeping the world’s attention focused on Ukraine.
