Sybiha: Ukraine receives requests from partners on maritime security and strait unblocking
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said this at a joint press conference with his Bulgarian counterpart Nadezhda Neynski in Kyiv on Monday, according to Ukrinform.
"Yes, we are receiving practical questions and requests from our partners about possible cooperation with the Ukrainian side in this area [unblocking the Strait of Hormuz]," Sybiha said in response to journalists' questions.

He noted that Ukraine has unique experience in ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea, including the creation of the so-called grain corridor with the support of UN and Turkish partners.
According to Sybiha, Ukraine sees that Russia is the party interested in escalating and prolonging tensions in the Middle East, using rising energy prices or the weakening of sanctions to its advantage.
"Therefore, of course, Ukraine is ready to contribute its practical expertise to assist partners. […] We stand for freedom of navigation," he said.
