Zelensky: Ukraine plans to expand defense agreements with Middle Eastern countries
President Volodymyr Zelensky made this announcement during a conversation with journalists, according to Ukrinform.
“We are planning to add a few more partners. Once we reach an agreement at my level, it will become clear how many experts can be sent to these countries,” the head of state emphasized.
As reported, on March 27, the President of Ukraine began a Middle East tour, during which he visited Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Jordan.
In Doha, Volodymyr Zelensky signed an agreement with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on a mutually beneficial partnership in the defense sector for at least 10 years.
