Volodymyr Zelensky discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte

The President announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“I met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. We discussed many different topics, but first and foremost—strengthening air defense and protecting our people from Russian attacks. We are very grateful for the PURL program, thanks to which we can purchase missiles for the ‘Patriots’ from the United States. We will work on involving new countries in this initiative and increasing contributions,” the head of state said.

The two leaders also discussed the situation surrounding Iran and its impact on Ukraine and all of Europe.
