President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Romania on a visit.

This was announced by the president's spokesman, Serhii Nykyforov, to journalists, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“The president has arrived in Bucharest,” Nykyforov confirmed.

He also said that the visit's schedule includes a meeting between Zelensky and Romanian President Nicușor Dan, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, and a visit to the F-16 pilot training center.

A well-informed source told Ukrinform that after he visits Romania, the Ukrainian president will visit France.

As reported, in June last year, Volodymyr Zelensky met with Nicușor Dan, the newly elected president of Romania, for the first time and held talks with him.

In December, the Romanian government joined the PURL initiative to accelerate the supply of critically important US-made weapons and equipment to Ukraine and allocated €50 million to the program's fund.
