Zelensky comments on Russia's possible withdrawal from negotiations
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, President Volodymyr Zelensky said this during a conversation with journalists, commenting on the possibility of Russia withdrawing from the negotiations if the Donetsk region is not ceded.
"We are discussing the possibility of ending the war at the negotiating table, and simply saying that we are ready to leave, each of the three parties can leave. But we are somehow coming together as three parties to achieve a result. Therefore, there is no need to scare anyone. We must continue the negotiations. If someone wants to leave, what can I say? We will look for other formats to force Russia to end this war," he said.
Zelensky emphasized that the president's position on territorial integrity and sovereignty remains unchanged.
As reported by Ukrinform, the negotiations do not currently involve exchanging small territories on the borders of specific regions for a large territory in the Donetsk region.
