Zelensky, Klimkin discuss 'several areas for possible cooperation'

President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with former Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and discussed the foreign policy situation surrounding Ukraine with him.

Zelensky stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"I discussed the foreign policy situation around Ukraine with Pavlo Klimkin, as well as certain decisions needed to strengthen Ukraine's positions in Europe and other parts of the world," Zelensky noted.

He added that he is grateful to Klimkin for his work for Ukraine and offered him "several areas for possible further cooperation."

As reported earlier, on January 5 Zelensky held a meeting with former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, during which they agreed to determine areas for further cooperation.

Pavlo Klimkin served as Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2014 to 2019 and headed Ukraine's delegation in negotiations with the European Union on the Association Agreement.
