Next round of trilateral talks to take place closer to February 27 – Budanov
This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President, while speaking to journalists during the International Justice Conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Asked about the date of the next round of talks and whether it could take place on February 26, the Head of the Presidential Office replied: “It seems to me that it has already been officially stated that it will be around February 27, plus or minus one or two days. So, February 26 fully fits within that timeframe.”
As for whether a confirmed date has already been set, Budanov specified: “We are currently in the process of preparations.”
“This is a procedural matter – when, who arrives, where, and so on. All three sides have to coordinate this among themselves. In fact, even four sides, including the host country. But we are preparing,” he said.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky said following the talks in Geneva, which took place on February 17–18, that the next round of peace negotiations should be held within 10 days in Geneva.
