Ukraine, Austria agree to step up joint efforts to return Ukrainian children from Russia
According to Ukrinform, Stefanchuk shared details of the meeting on Facebook.
"We spoke about the security situation and the consequences of Russian attacks. Russia is deliberately destroying energy infrastructure and using the cold as a tool of pressure, trying to make living conditions for Ukrainians unbearable. I received assurances of continued support from Austria and its parliament," Stefanchuk said.
He confirmed that "Ukraine is open to effective negotiations, but our 'red lines' remain unchanged – territorial integrity, sovereignty, independence, and the right to determine our own path."
Both sides also addressed the issue of abducted Ukrainian children and agreed to strengthen joint efforts in this area.
Stefanchuk and Rosenkranz discussed humanitarian projects as well, including the reconstruction of Ukrainian schools and kindergartens as a concrete expression of solidarity by the Austrian people with Ukraine.
"Austria remains a reliable partner of Ukraine, and we are sincerely grateful for all the support provided, which has already exceeded EUR 350 million," Stefanchuk said.
