Peace talks in Abu Dhabi conclude for today

The round of peace talks in Abu Dhabi involving delegations from Ukraine, the United States, and Russia that was scheduled for today has concluded.

This was announced to journalists by Diana Davitian, press secretary for the Head of the Ukrainian delegation, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The talks for today have ended,” Davitian said.

She added that official information on the course of the negotiations will soon be released by the Head of the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.

The negotiations are expected to continue tomorrow.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky approved the framework for the discussions and specific objectives for the Ukrainian negotiation team ahead of the new round of trilateral meetings in the United Arab Emirates.

The previous trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia took place on January 23–24, focusing on parameters for ending the war. Military representatives also outlined the list of issues to be addressed in future meetings.
