Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with a Ukrainian delegation, has been invited to the Munich Security Conference.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi said this at a briefing on Wednesday, February 4, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The Ukrainian president has been invited to the Munich Security Conference together with a delegation, which will also include Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha," Tykhyi said.

According to him, Ukraine will receive special attention at this year's Munich Security Conference across a range of formats.

Speaking about the issues the Ukrainian side will advance, Tykhyi noted that the key priority remains peace efforts and strengthening Ukraine. This includes enhancing the country's energy resilience and defense capabilities, particularly air defense, as well as increasing pressure on Russia – through sanctions, political, diplomatic, and isolation measures.

"Ukraine has a clear vision of how to bring this war to an end through increased pressure on the Russian Federation. These are precisely the messages that will be voiced at the Munich Security Conference, although, of course, there will also be more specific signals from Ukrainian officials," he added.

As was earlier reported, another round of trilateral meetings involving representatives of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia has begun in the United Arab Emirates.

The 2026 Munich Security Conference (MSC 2026), which will take place on February 13-15 this year, will for the first time feature a Ukraine House – a dedicated venue highlighting the conference's unwavering support for Ukraine.
