No information on Ukrainians affected during Iran protests – MFA

As of the morning of January 13, there was no information about any Ukrainian citizens killed, injured, or detained during the protests in Iran.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine told journalists that Ukraine's embassy continues to monitor the situation, according to Ukrinform.

"As of this morning (January 13), no information has been received by the Embassy of Ukraine in Iran regarding Ukrainian citizens among the dead, injured, or detained. The mission continues to monitor the situation," the ministry said.

As reported earlier, human rights organizations said on Sunday that more than 500 people had been killed and over 10,000 detained during the mass protests that have swept across Iran for the second consecutive week.
