Trump says he doesn't need international law
The White House head said this in an interview with the NYT, according to Ukrinform.
When asked if there were any limits to his global powers, Trump replied: “Yes, there is one thing. My own morality. Only my own mind can stop me I don’t need international law. I’m not looking to hurt people.”
When asked if his administration should comply with international law, Trump said “yes,” but added that it “depends on what your definition of international law is.”
As reported by Ukrinform, on January 3, the US military conducted a raid in Venezuela and detained the leader, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife, who face federal charges, including conspiracy to commit narco-terrorism.
The United States is also considering various options for establishing control over Greenland, including the use of armed forces, the White House said.
