Sybiha confirms Ukraine's readiness for close cooperation with Bahrain
Sybiha stated this on the social media platform X following the meeting held on the margins of the official opening of Cyprus' presidency of the European Union, Ukrinform reports.

"I congratulated Bahrain on its election to the UN Security Council for 2026-2027. I reaffirmed readiness for close cooperation, including in the context of Bahrain's presidency in GCC and thanked Bahrain for its consistent support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. I also invited my colleague to visit Ukraine," Sybiha said.
He emphasized that the key topic of the talks was the path to a lasting peace for Ukraine, and once again stressed that Russia must be compelled to stop its aggression, and that Ukraine counts on international support in this matter.
Sybiha also informed his counterpart about recent peace efforts and the outcomes of the Paris meeting of the Coalition of the Willing.
"We discussed our bilateral agenda and cooperation. I encouraged my counterpart to consider Bahraini investments into Ukraine and participation in Ukraine's recovery as an investment in the future EU member," he added.
