Chiefs of general staff of Coalition of Willing discuss security guarantees for Ukraine
This was reported by the Chief of the Defence Staff of the French Armed Forces, General Fabien Mandon, on the social media X, according to Ukrinform.
He noted that he met in the French capital with his British counterpart, Sir Richard Knighton, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Andrii Hnatov, and the U.S. European Command and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Alexus Grynkewich.
“Security guarantees in Ukraine and the conditions for their implementation were at the center of discussions during a video conference with the chiefs of staff of the armed forces of the Coalition of the Willing,” Mandon wrote.
According to him, the current military operation, which has been ongoing for several months alongside the Coalition of the Willing and in cooperation with the United States, “supports political steps aimed at establishing lasting peace on our continent.”
