Zelensky: Security guarantees will be effective after approval by US Congress and EU parliaments

He stated this in comments to journalists, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

"I believe that if the security guarantees for Ukraine are supported by the US president, if the security guarantees for Ukraine proposed by the president are legally supported, namely, voted on by the US Congress, and part of the security guarantees are provided by our European partners – this is a coalition of the willing, which will also be supported by the parliaments of the respective countries, then I believe in such security guarantees, I believe that they can be effective," the President said.

Zelensky added that he discussed the issue of approving security guarantees in the US Congress and European parliaments with US President Donald Trump and European leaders, and they recognized that this is an essential part of security guarantees for Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, Volodymyr Zelensky said that the talks with Trump in Florida had yielded significant achievements.
