Zelensky discusses peace process with Steinmeier in Berlin

President Volodymyr Zelensky today discussed the negotiation process with Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier during a meeting in Berlin and expressed gratitude for Germany's support.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky reported this on Telegram.

"During my meeting with Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, I expressed my gratitude for Germany's leadership in supporting our people.I briefed the President on our work with the United States aimed at achieving a dignified peace, reliable security guarantees, and economic recovery," Zelensky said.

He stressed the importance of ensuring Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and protection of national interests.

"I appreciate Germany's principled support for this position," he emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, earlier today in Berlin, President Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with a US delegation led by US President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
