Sweden is providing Ukraine with a civil assistance package worth 1.1 billion Swedish kronor (over €100.3 million) to help meet urgent needs during the winter.
As reported by Ukrinform, Sweden Herald cited the Swedish government in its coverage.
It is noted that the funds will go to support Ukrainian municipalities for the repair and construction of infrastructure in an environmentally friendly manner, help meet the country's energy needs during the winter, and strengthen the country's ability to deliver public services.
As reported by Ukrinform earlier, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that the Netherlands would provide an additional €250 million under the PURL initiative, which enables NATO countries to purchase U.S.-made weapons for subsequent transfer to Ukraine.
