Zelensky’s week packed with high-stakes diplomacy, FM Sybiha says
This was stated by Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha during a briefing with journalists on Saturday, November 29, according to Ukrinform.
“President Zelensky’s upcoming week will be extremely dynamic and intensive in terms of diplomatic dialogue. A series of events is planned. We are currently in an active stage of preparation,” the minister said.
Sybiha clarified that these will be meetings with Ukraine’s closest allies.
“For certain reasons, I cannot announce the locations, but these contacts will definitely take place and will have concrete results for our country, for the protection of our interests, for strengthening our defensive capabilities first and foremost, and for protecting the energy system,” the head of Ukrainian diplomacy assured.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation Rustem Umerov, along with his team, has already departed for peace negotiations in the United States.
