Zelensky in conversation with Macron: We expect partners to hear our arguments

During a call with French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine in the Geneva negotiations expects its partners to hear its arguments.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky shared this on Telegram.

"Our teams in Geneva are working with our partners, and it is very important that there is a practical outcome that brings Ukraine and all of Europe closer to reliable peace and security," Zelensky said.

He noted that the sides were coordinating positions and emphasized the importance of dialogue and active diplomacy. Zelensky stressed that Ukraine expects its partners to hear its arguments.

"The leadership of the United States is important. We are grateful for everything America and President Trump are doing for security, and we maintain maximum constructiveness. We expect new reports from our teams in Switzerland. Thank you, Emmanuel!" Zelensky added.

Earlier reports said that negotiating teams were meeting in Switzerland to work on steps to end the war.
