Umerov, Kallas discuss cooperation priorities for 2026

"I had a productive call with Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy & Vice-President of the European Commission. We discussed Ukraine's military and non-military support priorities for 2026 and aligned on key strategic areas," Umerov said, adding that he looks forward to their upcoming meeting.

As Ukrinform reported, during a press conference in Brussels on November 4, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated that Ukraine is already participating in EU projects aimed at strengthening the defense industry. She noted that such involvement in boosting the continent's defense readiness will contribute to Ukraine's overall integration into the European Union.
