Kallas: EU announces €10 million contribution to the Special Tribunal, €6 million for war crimes victims

The European Union has committed a EUR 10 million contribution to the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine by Russia, and is also providing EUR 6 million to assist Ukrainian children illegally deported by Russia and victims of sexual crimes committed by Russian invaders.

This was announced by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, at a news briefing in Kyiv alongside Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, attended by an Ukrinform correspondent.

“As for accountability, today I can announce the initial EUR 10 million contribution to the establishment of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression,” Kallas said.
