Nawrocki expected in Kyiv soon — FM Sybiha
This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in an interview with Ukrinform.
“We are looking forward to the Polish president's visit to Ukraine. ...We hope that it will take place in the near future,” Sybiha said.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy noted that the President of Ukraine is open to dialogue with his Polish counterpart. In this context, Sybiha noted that on the eve of the Polish president's visit to Washington, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
“And, of course, this visit is very important for the further development of our good-neighborly relations,” Sybiha emphasized.
Touching on the issue of search and exhumation work, the Ukrainian minister noted that “significant progress” has been made in this matter, and this work between the Ukrainian and Polish teams will continue.
As reported by the agency, Polish President Karol Nawrocki, speaking at the UN General Assembly session, stressed that Poland is once again experiencing manifestations of Russian imperialism and was forced, for the first time since the end of World War II, to open fire on enemy targets on its territory.
The Polish president signed a law extending funding for Starlink terminals in Ukraine.
