US Embassy after Russian strikes on Kyiv: Trump has clearly stated that killing must stop

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine stated this on the social media platform X following last night's Russian attack on Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.

"Last night, Russia's attacks in Kyiv again hit civilian targets, including Ukrainian homes and buildings housing the EU Delegation and British Council. Strikes on civilian areas are unacceptable and must stop immediately," the embassy said.

The embassy extended its deepest condolences to the victims and their families.

"When it comes to this war, President Trump has been clear—the killing must stop, and both sides must invest in a negotiated solution," the statement said.

As was reported earlier, the death toll from the Russian strike on Kyiv has risen to 19, with 63 people injured.
