Ukrainian, Danish PMs discuss start of EU membership talks
Svyrydenko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
She described the conversation as "friendly and constructive," expressing gratitude to Denmark for its "tangible support, which strengthens our defense and helps our people."
"Ukraine is fully prepared to open the first three negotiation clusters without delay and to complete preparations for all others by the end of this year. The opening of these clusters would serve not only as a procedural step but as a powerful signal to every Ukrainian that our European future is secure and irreversible," Svyrydenko said.
According to her, Frederiksen reaffirmed Denmark's steadfast support for Ukraine's EU path and defense capabilities.
Svyrydenko also praised Denmark's transparent defense support model, which combines state funding, partner contributions, and direct orders for Ukraine's defense industry.
She added that this approach should become part of future security guarantees for both Ukraine and Europe.
