Warsaw accuses Moscow of provocation after Shahed drone crashes in Poland

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Polskie Radio.

"We are dealing with a provocation by the Russian Federation, with a Russian drone. This comes at a special moment, when there are ongoing discussions about peace, when there is hope that the war may come to an end. Russia is once again provoking,” the Defense Minister emphasized.

He added that all Polish services are cooperating on this incident and that he has contacted the Polish National Security Bureau.

According to the Minister, allies are also being informed about the situation with the drone.

As reported by Ukrinform, an unknown object fell on a cornfield and exploded at night in the village of Osiny in the Lublin Voivodeship in eastern Poland, which borders Ukraine. The explosion knocked out windows in several houses, but no one was injured as a result of the incident. The police found burnt metal and plastic debris at the scene.

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the drone that fell in a field in the village of Osiny in the east of the country was a Russian Shahed.
