Next year, no less funding to be allocated for prosthetics than this year

This was stated by the Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, Denys Uliutin, in an interview with Ukrinform.

Responding to a question about how much should be allocated for prosthetics in next year's budget, the Minister said: “Definitely no less than this year—this is a priority.”

At the same time, Uliutin noted that the Ministry faces a problem in estimating the need for prosthetics.

"We know how many people have applied, and we have provided for everyone who has applied. But we don't know how many more people have not yet reached the stage of prosthetics. And this is the main challenge: the state can only act when a person submits an application or buys a prosthesis on their own and requests compensation. But we don't have any statistics on those who have not yet applied," he mentioned.

According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Social Policy has formed a working group to create a support model for people with amputations during the prosthetic process. The Ministry plans to launch the system entirely by 2027.
