German foreign minister and NABU, SAPO leadership discuss fight against corruption

During his official visit to Ukraine, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul met with Semen Kryvonos, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), and Oleksandr Klymenko, Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO).

The meeting was reported by the German Embassy in Ukraine via the social network X, according to Ukrinform.

“Germany supports Ukraine in the fight against corruption,” the embassy said.  

The embassy also emphasized that Germany stands with Ukraine as a friend and partner on its path toward European Union membership.

As previously reported, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul earlier met with Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and handed over a new aid package to units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
